Did you work on a location unit, or eat their food?
This is the part we cannot research our way to.
Company records are thin, catering suppliers were not credited, and most of what happened on those units only ever existed in the memory of the people who were on them.
If any of this is yours, we would like to hear it:
- 01You worked for the company, in any job, in any decade — or your father or mother did.
- 02You were crew on a unit they fed, and you remember the catering, the vehicles, or the people.
- 03You have photographs. Unit stills, snapshots, anything with a canteen or a dining bus in the background.
- 04You have paperwork — call sheets, movement orders, invoices, a wage slip.
- 05You simply remember a name we might not have.
