The films
The units the company fed, as the family's own record keeps them — in its order, and in its spellings.
Every title here is an attribution. IMDb does not record catering suppliers, so none of it can be confirmed from the credits — which is part of why the book exists.
The years and countries are new, and they come from somewhere else: each title was matched against IMDb, and 236 of them carry a year taken from a filming start IMDb actually records. The other 25 are marked c. — those are release year minus one, which is an estimate, not a record.
The country is where a film was made, not where it was shot. It is IMDb's country of origin, which is a matter of who financed and produced the thing. The Guns of Navarone sits here as United Kingdom, and the unit that needed feeding was on Rhodes. Where these films were actually shot is one of the things the book is for, and the record for it is in the paperwork rather than in any database.
262 of 262 productions
Nothing matches that. Try part of a title, or a director's surname.
† marks a director found on IMDb rather than in the family's own record. A name we went and found is a different kind of fact from a name the family put there. Titles with a question mark keep it, because that is what the record says.
c. marks a year we worked out rather than found: IMDb records no filming start for that title, so it is the release year minus one. Hover any year to see what it rests on.
Two rows are in the record but are not counted as productions — a job the company did not take, and a run of non-film units. They stay because the record is the family's document, not ours to edit.
